Imbolc

TIME TO AWAKEN YOUR SPRING GODDESS AND LET HER BURST FORTH!

Imbolc symbolises the ‘quickening of the year’, the entrance into the new spiral. The original word ‘Imbolg’ means ‘in the belly’. All is pregnant and expectant – and only just visible if at all, like the gentle curve of a ‘just-showing’ pregnancy. It is the promise of renewal, of hidden potential, of earth awakening and life-force stirring. Time to welcome the growth of the returning light and witness Life’s insatiable appetite for rebirth… AHO!

Imbolc is traditionally the great festival and honouring of Pagan Goddess Brigid (Brighid, Bride, Brigit) She is a Goddess of healing, poetry and smithcraft. Her name is often translated with the meanings of “The Exalted One”, “The Bright One”, “Bright Arrow”, “The Powerful One”, and “The High One.”

TIME TO BRING BACK THE FEMININE DIVINE POWER IN YOU!

Spring Equinox

As the darkness diminishes and starts to fade away, the light begins to increase and shine a little brighter. You may feel a building of imaginative, flowing, creative energy. You may feel as though you have a new spring in your step! A lifting of the fog and heaviness and a dropping of the sleepy blanket that you have been cocooning under for the past few months of winter.

In the darkest months of 2021 (and those days were definitely dark), we are invited by the energies to go within and be in the silence of inner darkness or death.

Did you fear that your inner world went dark and that the light would not return?

Just as the world turns on its axis and brings about the return of the light turn after turn, you can rely on the return of your own light, and allow your internal garden to bloom, grow and flourish into the New Dawn.

Join your sisters in sacred circle for this SPRING EQUINOX AWAKENING and light the fire within to step boldly and beautifully into the SPRING LIGHT!

Beltane in person and Online

BELTANE MARKS THE AWAKENING OF SUMMER AND THE INNER FIRE!

Beltane saw members of communities come together to celebrate the return of the summer (YASSSSSSS!!!!!) The observance of this hugely important time in the turning of the wheel of the year was characterised by a celebration of the return of the fertility of the land, the birth of new life, the awakening of the inner fire, the awakening of the Sun energy within, AHO!

The word ‘Beltane’ means ‘bright fire’. Fire is a purifier, a cleanser, a healer and a transformational element that alchemises your wounds to GOLD! In ancient communities, all hearth fires would have been extinguished and a new neid fire lit which would have then been used to relight people’s hearths in their own homes. In this way the community was connected to each other by the sacred fire which was central to all. The festival would also have been a time of courtship rituals and a celebration of our own fertility!

Summer teaches us patience and flow, Divine Feminine energy in the midst of the Masculine sun. The fruit is green until it’s ripe and you just can’t rush it. This is the time to flow, surrender, relax and let go…things will reach their fullness without effort or ego’s striving on our part.

Join your sisters in sacred circle for this SPRING EQUINOX AWAKENING and light the fire within to step boldly and beautifully into the SPRING LIGHT!

Summer Solstice

SUMMER SOLSTICE MARKS THE HONOURING OF LIGHT

I invite you to join your sisters in sacred circle and celebrate our connection to the Sun and the Earth. Every culture has festivals to honor this day and our ancestors around the earth built numerous monuments to commemorate this time.

As we head into the longest day of the year, it is time to turn towards the sun and embrace its light and fiery power.

Summer teaches us patience and flow, Divine Feminine energy in the midst of the Masculine sun. The fruit is green until it’s ripe and you just can’t rush it. This is the time to flow, surrender, relax and let go…things will reach their fullness without effort or ego’s striving on our part.

Gratitude for Goddess Gaia, our Divine Mother Earth

Gratitude for the transformation she brings

Gratitude for the fiery power ignited within us

Gratitude for the generosity of the Earth Mother, who gives says what we need so unstintingly.

Since ancient times, people all over the world have recognised this important astronomical occurrence and celebrated the subsequent “return” of the Sun… I invite you to honour your ancestors and celebrate with dancing around the fire!

Lammas

Join us in our Goddess Temple as we enter the Portal of ‘Lammas’, the harvest season between Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox.

It is now high summer and the union of Sun and Earth, of God and Goddess, of Masculine and Feminine Energy has produced the First Harvest.

Lammas is the celebration of this first, Grain Harvest, a time for gathering in and giving thanks for abundance. It is also the great festival of Lugh, or Lug, the great Celtic Sun King and God of Light. August is His sacred month when He initiated great festivities in honour of His mother, Tailtiu.

The word ‘Lammas’ is derived from ‘loaf mass’ and is indicative of how central and honoured is the first grain and the first loaf of the harvesting cycle.

Autumn Equinox

LAs the sun begins to sink lower in the sky, the days become crisper and the nights becomes chilly and dark, you get settled to be cosy under your blankets and there are pumpkin spiced lates everywhere you turn! Before you even notice the changing of the leaves and the crunch beneath your feet, your senses tell you that the energy of summer has come to an end and it’s time for a change in the spiral.

The Autumn Equinox is a meaningful time of year to honour the harvest. the abundance of all that you have gathered over the year. Whether that be a harvest of the things you planted in the earth or the harvest of efforts, intentions and visions for your life path that you put out into the world earlier in the year and are now grounding into reality.

As we consciously link our awareness to nature’s cycles, our understanding of our own inner cycles begin to deepen and create awareness to our lineage.

Samhain

Samhain is the time to connect with your ancestors and give honour and thanks too all that came before us so that we can break the cycles and chains our ancestors couldn’t

With the veil between worlds thin, and the magic of the spirit kingdom at play, it is as if time loses all meaning and the past, present, and future are one…

Come and join your sisters in a magical sacred circle to honouryour ancestors and connect with the intention you want to bring forth into the winter months as we cross the threshold

Give offerings to yoru ancestors in the fire and give thanks to all that has been so that you can create a more intentional space for the winter months.

Winter Solstice

Winter solstice marks the death and rebirth of the sun

As we head into the shortest day of the year, it is time to turn inward.

To reflect back on the year (what a year!) and give gratitude for what we have learnt, grieved, let go of and opened space for.

Time to sit in sacred ceremony with your sisters and call in an invocation for the next season.

Solstice holds a powerful energy for regeneration, renewal and self-reflection. In Pagan times the winter solstice was referred to as Yule and was a celebration of the Goddess (Moon) energy. It was believed that on this day, the moon would give birth to the sun.”

The earliest people on Earth knew that the sun’s path across the sky, the length of daylight, and the location of the sunrise and sunset all shifted in a regular way throughout the year. They built monuments such as Stonehenge in England and Machu Picchu in Peru – to follow the sun’s yearly progress.
